A young woman has sustained severe brain injuries after a fall from a balcony while reportedly attempting to escape an alleged rape attempt by a group of men.
The incident occurred in Germany, where the victim fell from the second floor of an apartment building while trying to evade five unidentified suspects. Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter.
Emergency responders, including police, paramedics, and the fire department, quickly arrived at the scene on Senftenberger Straße at 3:15 am on Tuesday.
After the fall, the woman was assisted back into her apartment by the five men. Due to the extent of her injuries, an emergency medical team was dispatched before she was transported to the hospital.
Medical professionals have diagnosed the victim with traumatic brain injuries, and she is currently undergoing treatment for her condition.
