Armed police responded to a residential street following a violent altercation between two XL Bullies that resulted in a man being bitten. The incident occurred on Milton Grove in Staffordshire at approximately 6:35 pm on Thursday. Staffordshire Police confirmed that the aggressive dogs were subdued and relocated to a secure police kennel, while two other dogs were also removed from the property.
An investigation into the altercation is currently underway. Authorities received a emergency call to Milton Grove at the specified time on May 21. According to Stoke on Trent Live, officers were informed that two XL Bullies were engaging in a confrontation in the front yard of a residence.
A police spokesperson stated, “The altercation escalated when the two dogs bit a man present at the scene, prompting the dispatch of armed officers.” The dogs were safely tranquilized and transported to a secure police facility for evaluation. The bitten man, whose injuries were minor, declined medical assistance. Additionally, two other dogs from the property were also relocated to a police kennel as part of the ongoing investigation.
