Interpol has identified Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old woman from Ukraine, as the suspect responsible for the recent parcel bombing in Monaco that targeted Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Ermolaev and injured two others. A warrant for Berezovska’s arrest has been issued as Monaco officials confirm she is no longer within the country’s borders.

According to an Interpol red notice, the suspect, described as having dark hair and possibly sporting a snake tattoo on her right arm, is wanted by Monaco authorities for charges including attempted murder. An informant involved in the investigation revealed that a witness had pinpointed Berezovska as the primary suspect, emphasizing her potential danger and advising caution in approaching her.

The explosive incident occurred at an apartment building on Rue Révérend Père Louis Frolla, with surveillance footage capturing the suspect dropping a backpack before the explosion. The perpetrator was then spotted fleeing towards the neighboring French town of Beausoleil. Although the victims have not been officially identified, Monaco officials stated that they were a family deliberately singled out in the attack.

Prince Albert II of Monaco condemned the bombing as a reprehensible act, confirming that all necessary state resources were engaged in collaboration with French authorities. Reports have identified Vadim Ermolaev, a prominent construction magnate, as one of the wounded individuals, along with a woman and a child. Ermolaev’s partner reportedly sustained severe injuries, including the loss of both legs.

The prosecutor’s office disclosed that the child victim has been interviewed in France, while the other two remain incapacitated for questioning. The explosion is being treated as an attempted assassination, with French authorities actively supporting the ongoing investigation into the incident and the perpetrator’s identification.

Vadim Ermolaev, who has been under Ukrainian sanctions since late 2023 due to business activities in Russian-occupied Crimea, relinquished his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019 and acquired Cypriot nationality. Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he relocated to Monaco, where he has amassed significant wealth through real estate ventures, particularly with his company Alef Estate, known for developing key properties in Ukraine’s Dnipro region.
