Crisps giant Walkers has discontinued one of its popular snacks for the second time in four years. The company initially stopped producing Crinkles crisps in 2022, only to reintroduce them two years later. However, Walkers has now announced that the product will not be available again as production has been halted.
Crinkles were known for their distinctive crinkle cut, salted flavoring, and promise of “more flavor in every ridge.” A spokesperson for the PepsiCo-owned brand confirmed to a fan that the Walkers Crinkles range ceased production in February 2026.
A check on supermarket websites revealed that Crinkles are no longer available in multipacks, likely disappointing fans of the snack. Customers who praised the crisps for their exceptional taste and texture expressed their disappointment online.
It remains to be seen whether Walkers will consider reintroducing Crinkles based on feedback from fans. Earlier this year, Walkers reintroduced two flavors of crisps that had been discontinued for twenty years, namely Chilli and Cocoa Sensations, and Slow-Roasted Lamb and Mini Sauce, marketed as limited edition.
While some customers appreciated the return of these flavors, others were critical, with one customer noting that the taste did not meet their expectations. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with the new flavors, comparing them unfavorably to the discontinued Snaps crisps.
Walkers’ decisions regarding product offerings continue to elicit mixed reactions from consumers, who eagerly await the brand’s future developments in the snack market.
