An urgent search is underway following a stabbing incident involving a teenager on the seafront in front of shocked onlookers. Sussex Police received reports of three teenagers, one armed with a knife, pursuing another teen at Worthing’s Marine Parade around 1:17pm today. The victim, an 18-year-old male, was assisted by bystanders for a hand injury before being transported to a hospital.
The three suspects, described as white individuals in black hoodies, fled towards the west along Marine Parade. Law enforcement officers promptly arrived at the scene, informing the public of an increased police presence in the area for the evening. Investigations are ongoing.
