Two women reported being followed and subjected to inappropriate touching by a man while shopping at a TK Maxx store. The incidents occurred on Monday, December 1, at The Oracle shopping center in Reading.
According to the police, the man entered the store and proceeded to follow several women as they shopped. He then allegedly touched a woman in her 20s before approaching another woman and touching her as well. Upon being confronted by the second woman, the man fled the scene.
Thames Valley Police issued a statement indicating that the man was observed following multiple females in TK Maxx at The Oracle and committing inappropriate actions towards the victims. They are urging anyone with information about the man’s identity or the first victim he touched to come forward.
Investigating officer, Police Staff Daniel Peters, appealed for cooperation from the public, encouraging anyone who may recognize the man or the victims to contact the authorities promptly. The police are also seeking information from potential witnesses or other individuals who may have been victims of similar incidents at TK Maxx on the specified date.
