Two individuals in their thirties, a male and a female, tragically lost their lives in a devastating three-vehicle collision just prior to the holiday season. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 6:40 pm on Saturday, December 20, on the A228 near Pembury in Kent.
The incident involved a black Triumph motorcycle and a light-colored Jaguar car traveling towards Tumbridge Wells on the Pembury Northern Bypass, while a silver Ford van was moving in the opposite direction.
Both the man and the woman were on the motorcycle during the collision. Despite the prompt response from police and ambulance teams, the man and the woman, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities have initiated an investigation led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and are seeking witnesses to come forward with any relevant information. Drivers are encouraged to review their dashcam recordings for potential footage of the vehicles involved leading up to the accident.
