A young girl named Aria Thorpe was tragically killed by stabbing in her residence in Somerset, leading to the arrest of a 15-year-old boy on murder charges. Aria had recently celebrated her ninth birthday with a Kpop Demon Hunters themed party and had expressed her Christmas wishes just before the incident.
Following the heartbreaking loss, Aria’s uncle, Jordan Hull, took to Facebook to request privacy for the grieving family during this difficult time. The suspect was apprehended in Worle and subsequently charged with murder after a court appearance at Bristol Magistrates’ Court. Aria, described as a delightful child, resided with her mother, Victoria Hull, who works as a hairdresser.
Tributes in the form of flowers and supportive messages were left near the scene of the tragedy. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Aria could not be saved, and she was declared deceased at the scene. The local community has been deeply affected by the shocking news, as confirmed by Superintendent Jen Appleford, who expressed the widespread sorrow within Weston-super-Mare.
Law enforcement officials, along with forensic experts, are conducting a thorough investigation at the location where Aria’s life was tragically cut short. House-to-house inquiries are also being carried out as part of the ongoing investigation.
