Tourist Killed in Thailand Speedboat Collision

A speedboat carrying 55 tourists collided head-on with a fishing trawler near the Phi-Phi Islands in Thailand on Sunday morning. The impact caused the front of the speedboat to be torn off, leading to it overturning and sinking in the Andaman Sea. Despite rescue efforts, one tourist, an 18-year-old woman believed to be from Russia, tragically lost her life in the incident.
