The Greater Manchester Police issued a statement, stating that they received a call at approximately 5:40 pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026, regarding a child falling from a house window on Buttermere Road. The child, a two-year-old boy, sustained life-threatening injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital. Investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
