Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may harbor increased resentment following his relocation to Sandringham after reportedly facing a threatening encounter near his new residence, an expert suggests.
The incident occurred in Wolferton as the former Duke of York was walking his dogs close to his Marsh Farm property around 7:30 pm on Wednesday. A man approached Mountbatten-Windsor’s car in a menacing manner.
Alex Jenkinson, 39, pleaded not guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday to charges of using threatening behavior towards the ex-prince with intent to cause fear or provoke violence.
This incident follows Mountbatten-Windsor losing his titles and being ousted from his former Windsor mansion, Royal Lodge, due to revelations in the Epstein files concerning his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
His current living expenses at Marsh Farm are covered by his brother, the King, who also funds his private security needs. Royal correspondent Jennie Bond remarked that Andrew might leverage this incident to request increased security from his brother and could feel further isolated at Sandringham.
The Crown Prosecution Service recently confirmed providing advice to police investigating Andrew’s connections to Epstein, with the former Duke of York arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his dealings with the financier.
