Tennis legend Bjorn Borg reveals his battle with prostate cancer in his upcoming autobiography, as reported in Sweden and Italy. The book, titled “Heartbeat,” co-authored with his wife Patricia, is set for release on September 18 in various countries including the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Latin America, the Netherlands, and Italy, in addition to Sweden.
Despite the secrecy surrounding the book’s release, it has been disclosed that Borg will limit media reviews and interviews. However, the book’s early availability in Italy through online platforms has unveiled Borg’s health struggle.
Borg, renowned for his dominance in tennis during the 1970s with multiple Wimbledon and French Open victories, is praised for popularizing the sport, especially during the rise of color television. Gunilla Bergmark of Norstedts, the book’s publisher, expressed the significance of sharing Borg’s story, highlighting Patricia’s role in narrating it.
