A young man was fatally stabbed in a tragic incident near a pub, leading to a 15-year-old boy being charged with murder. The victim, identified as Alfonso Sibley, 23, lost his life on Tuesday, December 9, outside The Wheatsheaf pub on Kingston Road, Surrey, around 3:30 pm.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene near the popular pub after receiving reports of a man with stab wounds. Despite efforts from police, paramedics, and bystanders to save Alfonso, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the location shortly after.

Following the incident, four individuals were arrested in connection with the crime – two 15-year-old boys, a 17-year-old, and a 20-year-old man, all held on suspicion of murder. One of the 15-year-olds has been formally charged with murder but cannot be identified due to legal restrictions.

The charged teenager appeared in court at Guildford Magistrates Court on Monday, December 15, and is scheduled for another appearance on Monday, December 22, remaining in custody. The remaining three suspects were released on police bail as investigations continue.

Authorities are urging any witnesses to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation. Surrey Police expressed condolences to the victim’s family, who have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
