Hudson Williams’s partner, Katelyn Larson, has taken a stand against fans of the show “Heated Rivalry.”
Larson, a tattoo artist based in Vancouver, issued a rare statement addressing the behavior of fans who have developed a parasocial relationship with her due to her connection with the co-star of the popular series. In an Instagram story on September 22, Larson expressed her discomfort with recent incidents where fans overstepped boundaries.
The couple has been together for several years, predating Williams’s rise to fame for his role as Shane Hollander in the hit series alongside Connor Storrie. Larson acknowledged that many fans have discovered her tattoo studio through the show, which she welcomed if based on genuine interest in art or tattoo services.
However, Larson drew a clear line at fans who solely booked appointments at her shop to inquire about personal matters related to herself and Williams. She emphasized the discomfort caused by such behavior and urged fans to respect their privacy.
Despite Williams’s rapid ascent to stardom, the couple has maintained a low profile regarding their relationship, as Williams has previously mentioned in interviews.
Williams and Larson have occasionally shared glimpses of their personal life on social media, notably on Valentine’s Day and at public events like the Vanity Fair Oscar party and the Canadian Screen Awards.
The cast of “Heated Rivalry” has previously addressed inappropriate fan behavior on social media platforms, while Williams’s dedicated fan base was prominently visible during his recent appearance in Toronto.
At the Toronto International Film Festival, Williams participated in an event discussing his upcoming project, “Yaga,” a series inspired by Slavic folklore set to premiere in October. Fans eagerly waited for hours to catch a glimpse of the star and attend his premiere.
One fan expressed admiration for Williams’s rapid rise to global fame, highlighting the importance of supporting homegrown talent like him. With the second season of “Heated Rivalry” currently in production in Canada, fans can anticipate its premiere in April 2027.
