Russian politician Dmitry Rogozin has ridiculed the UK for deploying only one military personnel to safeguard Greenland, as Europe dispatched a 30-member force to the world’s largest island amid concerns of a potential NATO territory takeover by Donald Trump. Rogozin humorously questioned if the lone British officer sent to Greenland was the renowned fictional spy, James Bond.
Rogozin, a prominent ally of Vladimir Putin known for his hawkish views, expressed astonishment at the comparably small British deployment, emphasizing the disparity between the preparations made against Putin’s Russia and those against Trump’s US.
