Police swiftly surrounded a vehicle in Dudley after receiving reports of apparent corpses visible in the back seat. Luke Orchard, 38, was driving on Castle Gate Island with what appeared to be skeletons in his car, catching the attention of a concerned passerby.

The skeletons, in fact, were props utilized by the lecturer for educational purposes at Dudley College and during his performances with the band Tumanduumband. Recounting the incident on Facebook, Orchard described being stopped by multiple police cars and officers after someone reported seeing bodies in his vehicle.

Initially oblivious to the situation unfolding around him, Orchard was startled to realize that the commotion was directed at him due to the props in his car. Despite playing loud music and not immediately grasping the seriousness of the situation, he eventually understood the cause of the police intervention, as reported by BirminghamLive.

Reflecting on the experience, Orchard admitted to being accustomed to transporting the skeletons and had not previously considered the potential implications. While initially shaken by the misunderstanding, he later found humor in the situation but intends to cover the models during future travels, jokingly mentioning their deterrent effect against car theft.

Moving forward, Orchard plans to take precautions to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.
