The remains of a man who went missing nearly 18 months ago have been found on a farm. Police have identified the remains as those of Trevor Blanchard from Lincolnshire, who disappeared in June 2024. Authorities have notified Blanchard’s family about the discovery and stated that there are no indications of foul play. They have requested privacy for the family during this challenging time.

A spokesperson for the police expressed their sadness at confirming the discovery of human remains on farmland in Halton Holegate on November 22. The remains have been positively identified as belonging to Trevor Blanchard, a 61-year-old man who had been reported missing from the Spilsby area. The police had issued appeals for information between June and October the previous year to locate Blanchard and thanked the community for their support during the search.
