Last week, the presenter had a health scare during the live coverage of England Women’s friendly against Ghana on ITV 4, which led to her being taken to the hospital after fainting on air.
Ian Wright and Anita Asante acted quickly to assist Woods before ITV transitioned to a commercial break. Following the incident, Woods, who recently became a mother to baby boy Leo, took to social media to reassure her fans about her well-being and apologize for the concern she caused.
In her Instagram post, Woods expressed gratitude to her ITV colleagues for their support and apologized for the incident that occurred on live TV. Her fiancé, former Love Island star Adam Collard, also provided an update on her condition, confirming that she was in good hands.
Despite the health scare, Woods is scheduled to return for the highly-anticipated Champions League fixture, where she will be joined by Steven Gerrard, Joleon Lescott, and Steve McManaman in Madrid. Meanwhile, Darren Fletcher and Ally McCoist will provide commentary for the match.
Manchester City will be aiming for their fourth Champions League victory against Real Madrid, who suffered a home defeat to Celta Vigo in their previous match.
