Greene King is set to give away 100,000 complimentary pints this bank holiday Monday as part of their “Home at Your Local” campaign, aiming to promote local pubs as a cozy gathering place. To grab a free pint, patrons just need to utter the phrase “I’m home” at the bar. Choices include Greene King IPA, Guinness, Old Speckled Hen, or a soft drink. Besides the free pints, Greene King plans to host numerous “pub warming parties” throughout May.
The campaign kicks off with a special event at The Albert Pub in Victoria, London, on May 3, featuring a one-off pub quiz hosted by The Two Pints Podcast hosts Ralf Little and Will Mellor. Following this, the first Greene King rave day will be launched by legendary duo Shaun and Bez alongside DJ Jon Da Silva at The Deansgate pub in Manchester on May 9.
