A grandfather was tragically found deceased in a river, prompting a homicide inquiry to be initiated. Despite efforts to save him, Lucas was pronounced dead at the location.
Following a post-mortem examination revealing injuries consistent with an assault, Warwickshire Police commenced a murder investigation.
