The Airbus A320neo aircraft, capable of accommodating up to 180 passengers, transmitted a Squawk 7700 signal to signal a general mid-air emergency.
Following the emergency declaration, the flight crew executed emergency procedures, ensuring the aircraft was prepared for a swift return to Manchester Airport. The plane made an unscheduled landing back at the airport once all necessary protocols were completed.
