The Frankfort Police Department announced on Facebook that they responded to the incident involving an active aggressor on the campus of Kentucky State University and, in collaboration with campus police and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, have detained a suspect. The campus remains on lockdown until further information is provided.
The Frankfort Sheriff’s Office also confirmed on social media that they have taken the necessary measures to secure the campus and have a suspect in custody.
