Ukrainian authorities investigating corruption allegations in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office faced a new setback with senior officials under scrutiny. The ongoing conflict with Russia has entered its fifth year, making the political turmoil an added challenge for Zelenskyy.
Anti-corruption agencies are currently engaged in an operation to uncover a criminal network reportedly led by a current and former legislator, implicating high-ranking officials from the presidential office and others. In a recent incident, a Russian drone targeted a minibus in Ukraine’s Kherson region, resulting in casualties. Russian air defenses intercepted numerous Ukrainian drones across various regions, underscoring the intensifying conflict dynamics.
