A recently revealed video captures the moment when Vickram Digwa, a convicted murderer, instructed his mother, Kiran Kaur, to take the knife he used to fatally stab Henry Nowak. The footage, released by the Crown Prosecution Service, shows Digwa speaking to his mother in Punjabi and directing her to remove the weapon. Digwa’s mother was sentenced to three years in prison for aiding an offender after she brought the murder weapon back to their home on the night of the crime in December 2025.
During the sentencing hearing, Judge William Mousley KC highlighted that Digwa’s mother failed to act responsibly by assisting in concealing the murder weapon. He emphasized that a responsible parent would have challenged their child’s actions and encouraged them to do the right thing. The judge pointed out that Kiran Kaur’s actions contributed to Digwa’s pretense of innocence and worsened the situation for the victim, Henry Nowak.
Following Kiran Kaur’s sentencing, the family of Henry Nowak reiterated their commitment to seeking justice and uncovering the truth about the tragic events of last December. They expressed their determination to hold accountable all those involved in the crime and urged the government to make necessary changes to honor their late son’s memory.
Vickram Digwa, who was found guilty of murdering the 18-year-old finance student, received a life sentence with a minimum term of 21 years after falsely claiming that the victim had racially abused him.
