A car plowed into a crowd during a parade in Nunspeet, the Netherlands, on Monday evening, injuring nine people, with three in serious condition.
The incident occurred at around 7 PM as spectators gathered for the town’s light parade.
Emergency services reacted swiftly to the scene, dispatching multiple ambulances and three trauma helicopters to aid the injured.
While no foul play is currently suspected, authorities are investigating the incident. The motive of the driver and any potential arrests remain undisclosed.
Police have sealed off the area for further inquiries, with images depicting a line of emergency vehicles along the street.
