Three individuals seeking asylum refuted allegations of sexually assaulting a woman at Brighton beach. The incident was reported to the police around 5 am on October 4, on the lower esplanade in Brighton.

Karin Al-Danasurt, a 20-year-old Egyptian residing in Horsham, appeared in Hove Crown Court facing four charges of raping the woman and one charge of unauthorized sharing of intimate images, all of which he denied. Abdulla Ahmadi, an Iranian national from Crewe, and Ibrahim Alshafe, a 25-year-old Egyptian living in Horsham, each faced two counts of rape against the same woman, to which they also pleaded not guilty.

A trial has been set for March 16 next year, with all three defendants being held in custody. Judge Jeremy Gold KC emphasized the importance of collaboration with their solicitors in preparing for the upcoming trial, addressing the men through Kurdish and Arabic interpreters.
