The global music festival, initially intended to coincide with Parton’s 80th birthday in January featuring her as the headline act with various other performers, was delayed last September due to health concerns.
However, Parton’s estate has confirmed that the “star-studded” music festival will proceed in Nashville and London over two consecutive weekends next year.
The “Queen of Country” passed away last week at 80, leaving behind numerous grieving fans. Renowned for hits like Jolene, I Will Always Love You, and 9 to 5, the singer was celebrated for her humor, rhinestones, and extensive philanthropic work.
The estate mentioned that Dollyfest “will embody the extraordinary celebration she wished to share with the world.”
