Search Underway for Missing Men with Kayaks off Welsh Coast

A search is currently in progress for two men who went missing after being spotted with inflatable kayaks at a beach in Wales. Identified as Simon and Connor, the duo was last seen near a Haven Holiday Park and were thought to be heading towards the coast close to Hafan-y-Mor, Pwllheli, North Wales.

Both coastguards and the RNLI have initiated a significant search operation, urging witnesses to reach out to the police with any details regarding the men’s location. A representative from North Wales Police expressed concerns about Simon and Connor’s whereabouts, highlighting their last known sighting at the beach off Hafan-Y-Mor, Pwllheli, around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 21st, as they were on their way to the beach with inflatable kayaks.

Chief Inspector Ian Roberts stated that officers, with support from HM Coastguard, are actively investigating and searching the area. Anyone present at the beach on Tuesday evening or possessing information that could aid in locating Simon and Connor is encouraged to contact the authorities via live webchat or by calling 101 and quoting reference O118860.
