“Fatal Carbon Monoxide Incident Leaves One Dead, Three Hospitalized”

An individual was discovered deceased, and three others were promptly taken to the hospital due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at a residence.

Emergency responders swiftly arrived at a residence in Mount Gambier, South Australia, where they found four individuals unconscious inside the premises just prior to 9 am on Saturday, July 11.

According to a police representative, “Authorities are compiling a report for the Coroner following an incident in Mount Gambier this morning. Shortly before 9 am on Saturday, July 11, emergency services were summoned to a residence on Penola Road after discovering four occupants unconscious inside.

“Regrettably, a 55-year-old man passed away at the scene. Three other individuals were transported to the hospital for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning treatment. Limestone Coast police are conducting an investigation, and there is no suspicion of foul play at present.”

Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas that can cause severe illness if inhaled. It can be produced by fires and appliances that burn gas, wood, oil, or coal.
