The team led by Thomas Tuchel will be flying from their base in Kansas City to New York on Friday. The weather forecast for the match anticipates a cool 23C temperature, which is relatively mild for this time of year.
Fans have traveled from Boston using various modes of transportation such as planes, trains, cars, and buses. At transportation hubs like the Port Authority bus terminal, Penn Station, and Grand Central Station, England fans have been arriving in large numbers.
Meanwhile, at the popular “Football Factory” pub situated beneath the Empire State Building, fans have been gathering to watch other World Cup games on TV. This pub, known as the headquarters for many Premiership clubs, attracts hundreds of English fans every Saturday.
