John McGowan-Fazakerley, aged 32, is anticipated to be housed at HMP Manchester, commonly known as Strangeways, a facility that has previously accommodated infamous criminals such as Harold Shipman, Dale Cregan, Ian Brady, and Charles Bronson. McGowan-Fazakerley was sentenced to 25 years for charges related to the death of a child, child cruelty, and sexual abuse.
