“Fatal Glasgow Collision: Police Appeal for Witnesses”

A woman aged 68 passed away following a collision with a truck while trying to cross a street in Glasgow. The incident occurred on Saracen Street at 11:10 am on Tuesday when the pedestrian was hit by the HGV. Despite the arrival of emergency services, the woman was declared deceased at the scene.

Authorities from Police Scotland are now seeking any individuals who witnessed the event to come forward. Sergeant Chris McColm, from the road policing unit in Glasgow, expressed condolences to the woman’s family and mentioned that investigations into the circumstances are ongoing. He urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the police.

Additionally, drivers who were in the vicinity of Saracen Street at the time of the incident are encouraged to review their dashcam footage and reach out if it contains any relevant details for the investigation.
