A young British man was sadly discovered deceased after vanishing following his attendance at a TwitchCon event in the Netherlands.

Bradley Passey, aged 21, went missing on May 30 after being seen by friends outside the Munch nightclub on Maasboulevard around 2 am. He had participated in the gaming convention and was believed to have been staying at a hostel in the Overblaak Cube Houses area but did not return after that night.

Concern arose when Bradley did not board his scheduled flight back home, prompting his family to take action. They traveled to Rotterdam, where local authorities launched a thorough search, assisted by the family members who put up posters and sought any potential footage.

Tragically, Bradley’s sister, Amy, shared on Facebook that they received confirmation of his drowning in the River Maas. Expressing their shock and gratitude for the support received, Amy urged continued assistance through shares and donations on their GoFundMe page as the family’s stay in Rotterdam remained uncertain.

Social media was flooded with condolences for the family, offering sympathies and strength during this difficult time. The Rotterdam Police, as reported by AD, mentioned the ongoing efforts to gather information and the absence of significant leads at that moment.

The UK Foreign Office assured that they are providing support to Bradley’s family and maintaining communication with the local authorities.
