A young man, aged 20, is in critical condition after being stabbed in the heart of London. The Metropolitan Police responded to a call in the early hours of Thursday regarding an attack on Lupus Street in Pimlico, near Tate Britain. The victim was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds and remains in a serious state.
Law enforcement confirmed that no arrests have been made yet, and investigations are ongoing. A spokesperson for the police assured the public of their diligent efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for the incident.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, a significant area has been cordoned off, leading to the closure of multiple roads. Pimlico Station was temporarily closed for approximately five hours overnight, as reported by My London. Transport for London initially announced the closure at 2:45 am and later confirmed the reopening at 7:50 am.
