“Global Outages Hit Slack Platform, Users Struggle to Send Messages and Files”

Slack, a widely used work and communication platform, is currently experiencing global outages as users report widespread issues. Reports of problems have surfaced from users in the UK, US, and Australia around 11:30 pm local time on Wednesday, May 28.

According to real-time technology monitoring service Downdetector, users are encountering difficulties with sending messages and attaching files on Slack. Multiple users have voiced their concerns, with one stating, “Couldn’t send message when trying to attach a screenshot. Colleagues are facing the same issue.”

As of nearly 11:45 pm, at least 36 reports of platform issues have been filed by UK-based users on Downdetector. The situation is evolving, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.
