Iran remains firm on its stance regarding key issues such as uranium enrichment and possession, despite Donald Trump’s rhetoric. Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, emphasized Iran’s red lines, which include the right to enrich uranium, possession of enriched uranium, control over the Strait of Hormuz, and the lifting of sanctions.

Following Trump’s remarks about Iranian intentions for a peace deal, Azizi reaffirmed Iran’s position in a post, highlighting the critical points that Iran considers non-negotiable. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio acknowledged some progress in peace talks between the US and Iran, expressing optimism about potential advancements in the near future.

Rubio mentioned that Trump is open to various options if diplomatic negotiations do not yield results, emphasizing that Iran will not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. The situation continues to evolve, with both sides engaging in discussions to address complex issues.
