Sarah Ferguson is facing a personal tragedy following the untimely death of a child she once cared for as a nanny. Before her marriage to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and her entry into the Royal Family, the former Duchess of York worked as a nanny for the sons of British businessman Paddy McNally after their mother passed away in the 1980s.

Paddy, now 88 years old, has tragically lost his son Sean, who passed away suddenly. Sean, in his early 50s, lived a secluded life on a Scottish estate. Reports suggest that a funeral has already taken place for Paddy’s son.

Fergie, as she is commonly known, had a romantic involvement with Paddy from 1982 to 1985, despite initially being employed as a nanny for his children. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, they remained close friends. Fergie was frequently seen at Paddy’s luxury chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, known as The Castle, where the pair spent considerable time together.

Following the release of emails between Sarah Ferguson and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the ex-royal maintained a low profile. Speculation arose after her disappearance from the public eye for several months, prompted by the scandal that led to her titles being revoked. Various reports suggested that Fergie sought refuge at Paddy McNally’s residence in Wiltshire, aside from his other properties in France and Scotland.

During this period, it was also speculated that Fergie sought solace with Count Gaddo della Gherardesca, her former partner in the late 1990s. Count Gaddo owns a substantial estate in Tuscany and a ski lodge in Verbier, providing potential locations for Fergie to retreat to amidst the media scrutiny.
