Celebrity Big Brother star Tiffany Pollard made a cruel jibe at her former rival Gemma Collins today. The reality star appeared on This Morning to discuss the new series of the ITV1 show, which will see one star booted out this evening.
During her chat on This Morning today with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, talk turned to her own time in the house and her feud with Gemma Collins. The pair seemed firm friends at first but soon, things turned sour.
Alison explained that Gemma and Tiffany had seemingly got along at the start of the series and the way Gemma had gifted Tiffany a pair of shoes for her birthday. Tiffany said: “They were designer shoes. I was excited, this was like a $3,000 pair of shoes.
“She went into my cubby and took the shoes and one of the housemates told me ‘Oh Gemma took her shoes back sweetheart because you wouldn’t apologise to Angie about the David situation.”
Making a swipe at her former rival, she then made a jab at Gemma’s weight by saying: “I was like ‘Honey I would’ve given you those shoes back’ because her big everything knocked stones out of those shoes. I did look at those shoes and examine them, they were missing so many diamonds girl she could’ve kept them.”
Alison and Dermot were shocked by her comments, with Alison then asking: “Are you friends now? Have you made up? Do you DM each other?” Tiffany admitted: “We will never be that close Alison but what she did say when I left the house, she said ‘Well done.'”
Tiffany will be best known to Celebrity Big Brother viewers for the viral ‘David’s dead moment. Tiffany had mistaken that fellow housemate David had died – and not Angie really sharing that her ex-husband David Bowie had died.
“When Angie said David, what other David was I coming in contact with? He was so sick and so pink and his eyes were red, he was so sick… He had to be taken out and he was on medication, poor thing I just figured he died,” she said of the now viral moment.
“Once they told me David Bowie, it still didn’t register, I was like okay but she told me David so how was I wrong?”
Elsewhere on the show, Tiffany slammed new housemate Trisha Goddard. Giving her verdict on the house, she said: “I think it’s a very interesting house. It’s a very opinionated house and there’s some love connections going on. One housemate just won’t be quiet – her opinion is all over the place. Trisha! Oh my goodness I could not live with Trisha! Bless her, I would end up telling her: ‘Hey sweetie, you’re not an expert on this topic.'”
