An airline company has terminated all its flights operations and entered administration, resulting in the loss of 41 jobs. Zenith Aviation Limited, a prominent UK chartered airline offering private jet charter, aircraft management, and engineering services, has ceased its services.
The company’s administration was handled by Paul Hargreaves of Nexus Corporate Solutions Limited, who mentioned that despite the insolvency issues caused by cash flow problems, unpaid debtors, and past ownership and management challenges, there is a possibility of rescuing or selling the business. The company’s primary base was located at London Biggin Hill.
Zenith Aviation Limited was acquired by Opul Jets early last year, but control over the firm was relinquished in December. The acquisition encompassed the UK-issued Air Operator Certificate, the fleet of registered aircraft, and a fully accredited maintenance facility.
Efforts are currently underway to evaluate the company’s assets, assist employees in claiming their statutory redundancy entitlements, and explore potential options for rescue or buyout if deemed suitable. The situation is still under assessment, and various avenues are being considered for the company’s future.
