Cameras recently captured the strategic placement of stickers to assist President Donald Trump in positioning himself correctly outside the White House ahead of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s official state visit. Live footage displayed markers labeled “KING” and “PRESIDENT” indicating where the dignitaries should stand in relation to each other.

During King Charles’ arrival at the White House, he exchanged greetings with President Trump through a handshake, while Queen Camilla warmly embraced the first lady. Viewers also observed the floor markers guiding their positions.

Subsequently, Trump indicated the designated spots to Queen Camilla and King Charles, leading to a photo session. Some onlookers commented on the perceived reluctance of the British Monarchs in the photo opportunity, suggesting a lack of enthusiasm towards Trump’s presence.

Accompanied by Queen Camilla, King Charles landed at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland for their first official visit to the U.S. as monarchs, marking the first state visit by a British monarch since 2007. The visit occurs amidst escalating tensions between British leadership and the Trump administration. The royal couple enjoyed a private tea with the first couple at the White House.

Their visit spans four days, including stops in Washington D.C., New York, and Virginia. Events include a garden party, a White House welcome, a military review, and a closed-door meeting between King Charles and President Trump. King Charles will address the US Congress, a rare honor only previously granted to Queen Elizabeth II during her 1991 state visit.

A state dinner at the White House will feature speeches from both leaders. The royal pair will also visit the 9/11 memorial in New York City before engaging in separate engagements – the King with a community organization and business leaders, and the Queen at a literary event celebrating Winnie the Pooh’s centenary. The visit concludes with a wreath-laying ceremony in Virginia to honor fallen soldiers and a community celebration marking America’s 250th independence anniversary.
