Ella Rae Wise launched into an explosive rant at Chris Hughes as things reach boiling point for her in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The TOWIE star, 24, had been flirty with Chris, 32, when entering the house as fans suspected a new romance on the card.
It seemed like Ella was keen to mend her broken heart after it was revealed she split from boyfriend Dan Edgar just before heading into lockdown for the ITV show. She revealed that while her chemistry with Dan was undeniable, she wanted more from the relationship than just physical attraction.
Ella had started off with cheeky conversations with Chris in the house, and even invited him to get a colonoscopy with her outside the house. Yet there has been distance between them in recent days, as Chris bonded with JoJo Siwa instead.
The reality star appeared to be left out of new friendships being built in the Big Brother house and didn’t find a spark with Chris. Now, it seems she is taking her frustrations out on the Love Islander as she made her feelings known when the results of their pirate challenge was revealed.
The housemates were gathered in the living room, where Big Brother told them they had failed the shopping task that saw Mickey Rourke get booted out after his shock comments. They failed because some were not wearing their full pirate outfits.
Chris’ name was in the frame for failing to wear the proper pirate look, with Ella jumping in to share her opinion. He was also called out for breaking house rules by chatting about nominations with Donna Preston.
Ella frowned at the news as she quipped: “So the first shopping task we failed.” She turned to Chris and said: “It is what it is. [He’s saying] I did this I did that. Get over it.”

The reality TV star admitted she was surprised she hadn’t clicked with Chris during Sunday night’s show. She told Angellica Bell: “I thought I would have bonded with Chris the most but no.”
Angellica said: “He hasn’t really engaged with you,” as Ella replied: “Not at all.” The TV presenter asked: “Is it making you feel a bit awkward?” Ella insisted: “No I don’t care, like whatever, I don’t fancy him, so I’m not bothered, do you know what I mean? It’s just a bit strange.”
She was left in tears during the same episode as axed housemate Mickey Rourke made a vile sexual remark to her. Shortly before being removed, the acting legend’s crude comment was too much for Ella, who broke down and needed to be comforted.
The incident, which came days after he shocked fans when he made homophobic and fat-shaming comments, came as they took part in a pirate themed-challenge. “I have instructions for us all. We’re not allowed in the bedroom, no one is allowed to touch the crisps or sweets,” Ella informed the group.
Mickey then told her: “I don’t like them” before Ella responded: “You’ve got to come with me!” The film star then shocked everyone, replying to her: “Come in you?” After the awkward comment, Drag Race star Danny Bear, 32, pulled him into line, saying: “Mickey, you can’t make them jokes.”
