The highly anticipated bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is moving closer to reality as Eddie Hearn discloses that negotiations are progressing well. Joshua is gearing up for a return to the ring in July after a previous delay due to a car accident following his victory over Jake Paul in December. He has been training with Oleksandr Usyk and recently made a public appearance in the UK. Fury, fresh off a win against Arslanbek Makhmudov, called for a match with Joshua, but the latter did not immediately agree.

Hearn provided an optimistic update, hinting at Joshua’s imminent return before two potential fights with Fury, scheduled to be broadcast on DAZN and Netflix. The location for the fight remains undecided, with Hearn indicating it will be determined by Turki Alalshikh’s preference. He expressed hope for the fight to take place in the UK.

The promoters are yet to finalize details, but plans include Sela promoting the first fight and potential involvement of Goldstar and Frank Warren for the second match. Discussions are ongoing regarding the broadcast platforms. The fight’s location and promotion are awaiting finalization.
