A possible feud is brewing in the Celebrity Big Brother house thanks to some telling nominations. During Sunday night’s instalment of spin-off show Late and Live, fans of the star-studded reality TV series got a sneak peek at who has been irking JoJo Siwa – Ella Rae Wise.
Sitting in a hot tub with former Big Brother stars Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan, host Will Best told ITV2 viewers: “Lets take an exclusive first look at one of JoJo’s nominations.”
The clip then shows JoJo sitting in the Diary Room and telling Big Brother: “My second nomination is for Ella. Conversations with Ella I feel are very forced and I feel I really have to try to come up with something that we can talk about.
“I also feel like I’m really on eggshells and I feel like… I kind of overheard her say something today when I was in the garden with Chris – something about me and Chris whispering at night – so that got me thinking ‘would I expect drama in a way’. I feel it’s an interesting dynamic.
“I don’t like gossip. I like silly little gossip like ‘Oh my God this happened. That was hilarious’ but real gossip that is catty behind people’s backs? I don’t think it’s for me and I don’t think it’s for this house – it can kill the vibes.
JoJo’s nomination comes as many Celebrity Big Brother fans feel ITV producers are trying to push a love triangle storyline involving the Dance Moms star, Ella and Chris Hughes. “Did Jojo and Ella get their scripts mixed up cos what is happening #CBBUK,” one penned on Twitter (X) on Sunday night as JoJo’s friendship with former Love Island star Chris continued to blossom.
“The producers wanted to drive a Chris and Ella love story, but we’re gonna get a Chris and Jojo bromance story instead #CBBUK,” another added, with a third quipping: “The editing is killing me , cause why they making it look like Ella is jealous of Chris and JoJo ???”
TOWIE star Ella, who split from her co-star Dan Edgar just days before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, addressed the lack of romantic spark between herself and Chris on Sunday’s show. “Nah I don’t care like at all, it’s whatever, I don’t fancy him so I ain’t bothered. Do you know what I mean? But it’s just a bit strange,” she admitted during a candid chat with Angelica Bell.
Elsewhere on Celebrity Big Brother over the weekend, Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke was removed from the house following a string of bigoted outbursts. The Bafta-winning star of The Wrestler, 72, left the ITV1 show on Saturday after “further use of inappropriate language” and “instances of unacceptable behaviour”.
Rourke caused upset in the house from the start and made JoJo cry after making homophobic comments about her sexuality. During Sunday’s episode, before his removal, he told Big Brother in the diary room that his housemates “seemed happy” that he had not left during Friday’s eviction episode.
Sunday’s episode showed the events that led to his departure, including him using “sexual language” that made The Only Way Is Essex star Ella feel uncomfortable. Rourke had made a sexual innuendo after Ella told Rourke “you gotta come with me, mate”.

Things also became heated between Rourke and Love Island star Chris during a pirate-themed shopping task in which US singer JoJo had been given the role of captain. In the diary room Big Brother told Rourke: “Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behaviour was threatening and aggressive.
“Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behaviour. In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella. This language has caused offence to your fellow housemates and could cause offence to the viewing public. This is not the first time Big Brother has had to speak to you about your offensive and inappropriate language.”
Rourke apologised and said: “I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. Because I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I’m very sorry.
“I’m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I’m sorry about that.”
