A physician who suggested that the Princess of Wales and the King may have developed cancer due to Covid vaccines is now running for office in the upcoming local elections under the Reform party banner.

Professor Angus Dalgleish made these remarks at a Reform UK event where cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra spoke. Dalgleish indicated that the Covid vaccines were likely a contributing factor to cancer in members of the Royal Family.

The Reform party quickly distanced itself from Dr. Malhotra’s assertions, stating they did not support his statements. However, Prof. Dalgleish, a former UKIP member and ex-chair of oncology at St George’s Hospital in London, confirmed his belief in the vaccine-cancer link and is now a Reform UK candidate in the Sutton ward of North Cheam.

In response to these claims, Sir Keir Starmer criticized Reform’s health policy writer, Dr. Malhotra, for spreading baseless vaccine-cancer conspiracy theories, emphasizing the importance of trust in the NHS.

Prof. Dalgleish had previously raised concerns about NHS strain due to high immigration levels. However, medical experts, including Cancer Research and Professor Brian Ferguson, dismissed the notion of a Covid vaccine-cancer connection, emphasizing the safety and efficacy of vaccines.

Notably, the Princess of Wales battled undisclosed cancer, undergoing treatment and surgery, while King Charles received an early cancer diagnosis in 2024, with successful treatment leading to reduced medical intervention this year.

The Mirror has reached out to Reform for a statement regarding these developments.
