A grandfather was tragically found deceased in a river, prompting a homicide inquiry to be initiated. Authorities swiftly responded to reports of a man in his fifties, later identified as Adam Lucas, discovered in Victoria Park, Leamington Spa. Despite efforts to save him, Lucas was pronounced dead at the location.
Following a post-mortem examination revealing injuries consistent with an assault, Warwickshire Police commenced a murder investigation. They appealed to anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything suspicious in the vicinity from late Tuesday night to Wednesday morning to come forward with information.
