In January 2025, it was revealed by Princess Kate that her battle with cancer had reached a point of remission. As the year progressed, she gradually resumed her royal duties with increased frequency, captivating onlookers with her impeccable fashion sense on each public appearance.

Throughout the year, Princess Kate dazzled in a series of elegant ballgowns at three distinct state banquets held at Windsor. In between these glamorous ensembles, she also showcased her affection for British fashion through a selection of timeless wardrobe essentials.

With a well-documented passion for fashion, Princess Kate was admired globally for her iconic style. In 2025, she proudly sported a variety of high-end designer labels while also championing more budget-friendly fashion choices available on the high street.

In addition to her fashion statements, Princess Kate’s choice of tiaras at the state banquets garnered attention. Opting for the Lover’s Knot tiara, a favorite of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, at the French and US state banquets, she surprised many by wearing Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet Tiara, unseen for decades, at the German state banquet in December.

Whether showcasing her trusted wardrobe staples or donning exquisite couture pieces, Princess Kate’s fashion choices were consistently thoughtful, strategic, and impeccably executed, establishing her as one of the best-dressed royals in 2025.

Reflecting on some of the standout outfits worn by Princess Kate throughout the year, notable appearances included a bespoke aubergine Emilia Wickstead coatdress for the VE Day anniversary, a navy Simple Coat Dress by Suzannah for the HMS Glasgow naming ceremony, a turquoise Catherine Walker coat dress for Trooping the Colour, a white Self-Portrait dress for the Order of the Garter Service, and a pale pink Dior ensemble to welcome French President Emmanuel Macron.

Noteworthy moments also included her striking burgundy Emilia Wickstead coat dress for the US president’s state visit, a bespoke gold and ivory Phillipa Lepley gown for the US state banquet accessorized with Princess Diana’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, and a cobalt blue Alexander McQueen coat over a navy Burberry dress for the German state visit.

In December, Princess Kate stunned in a sparkling icy-blue Jenny Packham sequined gown, debuting Queen Victoria’s rarely seen Oriental Circlet Tiara at the German state banquet. Concluding the year with elegance, she wore a forest green Catherine Walker coat accessorized with a Troy London faux fur collar and Robinson Pelham Tsar Star diamond earrings for the Together at Christmas concert.
