Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly inquired about setting up Prince Andrew with companions during a trip to Peru, as revealed in an email from the Epstein files. The email, part of the recently released documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, was addressed to an unidentified individual seeking assistance in arranging activities for Prince Andrew in the South American country.

The correspondence suggests that the initial email was directed to Juan Esteban Ganoza, following discussions between him and Maxwell regarding Prince Andrew’s plans during the Peru trip in March 2002. A person with the same name and residing in Lima is listed in Epstein’s contact book.

Maxwell mentioned in the email that she had shared Prince Andrew’s contact details with the recipient, expressing his interest in visiting the Nazca Lines. She specified that horseback riding was not his preferred activity and emphasized the importance of introducing him to trustworthy and discreet friends for a pleasant experience.

Furthermore, Maxwell instructed the recipient to anticipate a call from an individual with an English accent who would reach out to greet them. She expressed some jealousy that Prince Andrew would have the opportunity to meet the recipient and have them as a tour guide for a day in Peru.

The US Department of Justice recently released a vast number of files obtained during investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, complying with the legal obligation to disclose the materials by a specified deadline after pressure from various lawmakers. The released documents primarily pertain to past investigations into Epstein, including inquiries dating back to 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida, and a federal probe in Florida that concluded with a plea agreement in 2008. Additionally, there are documents from the 2019 investigation in Manhattan that was halted following Epstein’s death.

The materials consist of redacted phone records, travel logs, police case files, and victim interviews. Notable figures featured in the documents include former US President Bill Clinton, as well as musicians Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson. However, their mention or appearance in the files is not indicative of any wrongdoing, with many individuals denying any misconduct in relation to Epstein.

Despite calls for transparency from lawmakers and Epstein’s victims, the redaction of several documents has led to criticism of the Justice Department for lack of clarity. Prince Andrew’s representatives were not immediately available for comment on the matter.
