A tragic incident unfolded at an Asda supermarket in Southampton as a man in his 50s collapsed and passed away while shopping for groceries in front of shocked onlookers. The unfortunate event, described as a “serious medical incident,” occurred around 2:30 pm. Authorities confirmed that the man’s death is not considered suspicious, and his family has been notified.
Upon receiving a distress call at 2:32 pm on December 22, the police rushed to the scene to assist the ambulance service with the emergency. Despite the efforts of the emergency responders, the man could not be revived and was declared deceased at the location. The authorities reassured that no foul play is suspected in the man’s passing, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
