Ex-royal Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was captured smiling while driving his car shortly before the anticipated release of the Epstein files. The former prince, stripped of his royal titles by King Charles, has been under scrutiny for his ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Despite facing allegations, Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
Thousands of documents related to Epstein are expected to be disclosed today, as the US Department of Justice faces a deadline. Andrew’s association with Epstein has been a subject of ongoing debate, with new images surfacing featuring him alongside other prominent figures.
The House Oversight Committee recently unveiled nearly 100 photos, including ones with Andrew, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Bill Gates. While many individuals depicted in the images have refuted any accusations of misconduct, the Trump administration is obligated to release a significant volume of records under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
One notable photo from the recent release shows Bill Gates and Andrew conversing with King Charles at a 2018 summit in London. Trump, who had initially opposed the release of the files, eventually allowed Republicans to vote for the act. Andrew, aged 65, was seen driving his Range Rover near Windsor Castle.
Following his brother’s decision in October, Andrew lost his royal titles and was required to vacate his Royal Lodge residence for the Sandringham Estate post-Christmas. Epstein, who died in 2019 while in custody awaiting trial, had his death ruled as a suicide.
