The Celebrity Big Brother twists have started already as three housemates are set to be given huge decisions. All the housemates have entered the iconic house as the 2025 series kicked off with a bang.
The likes of Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd, talk show queen Trisha Goddard and EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer are among the stars taking part this year.
Hollywood icon Mickey Rourke was the last celebrity to enter, as he caused a stir with his ‘uncomfortable’ entrance. As the show finished on ITV, the gossip continued over on spin-off show Late and Live.
Last year’s winner David Potts was on hand to share the very first twist of the series that the celebrities will face. He revealed the first three housemates to enter the hidden Prize Room will face a huge decision.
They will have plenty of options with the superior being Immunity, Guardian Angel (give immunity to someone else) or Killer Nomination (target a fellow housemate).
Other prizes include a teddy bear, coffee or novelty slippers. There is also one major prize that will grant contact with the outside world.
We will have to wait and see who will find the Prize Room, yet hosts AJ and Will have revealed Mickey entered first. He picked the Guardian Angel and will need to pick who can enter next. During the first episode, Mickey had a very shocking moment before walking into the house.
He appeared to stare at host AJ as she introduced herself to him and grabbed onto her. Mickey then became extremely distracted by the live audience as he attempted to give them all a high-five as he made his way to the door of the house.
He was taking so long, AJ had to push him into the house yet he tried to take her in there with him. Fans were left uncomfortable by the situation as one said: “I honestly never thought that I’d see mickey rourke get herded into the big brother house like a lost sheep and then get yanked into a conga line by jojo siwa…”
Another added: “I feel bad for AJ with the way Mickey Rourke kept pulling out her.” Someone else commented: “Is Mickey Rourke OK?”
A fourth expressed their concern as they wrote: “Someone get some security for AJ from Mickey Rourke because what the hell was that????” Another shared: “Mickey’s entrance is the strangest entrance I think there’s ever been on this show.”
Over on spin-off show Late and Live, AJ addressed the moment when guest Alan Carr called out Mickey’s actions. She declared: “You can’t afford these feathers Mickey. No!”
This year’s instalment has already seen several changes, one of which is a change in location. The Big Brother house has been moved to a “brand-new secret location”. Big Brother was revived in 2023, with the celeb edition shortly following in 2024.
